This is my 3rd Relay season as Captain of my wonderful "Hunting for a Cure" team and I know it's going to be a good one!
Last year was great! We surpassed our $10,000 goal which was amazing and such an awesome feeling knowing that our little team of 9 people could do that. I have a fabulous team!!
This year our team is doing a BIG fundraiser with the help of Cher-Ae Heights Casino in Trinidad. This fundraiser will include an awesome Tri-Tip dinner and live & silent auctions! I'm so excited for this fundraiser! The amount of money we could raise with some hard work could be HUGE! The event will be June 7th @ 6pm. Tickets will go on sale in April and will only be $20. For that $20 you will get a great dinner and $10 in casino cash while supporting a very important and worthy cause.
We will also be having some smaller fundraisers like our 3rd annual team yard sale which will be held on June 19th @ 1812 Sycamore Ct in McKinleyville. This will be a great yard sale to support since all of the money will be donated to Relay For Life. It's during the annual Heartwood Subdivision Yard Sale so there will be others going on also. Yard sale heaven for you yard sale lovers!
